Start Living a Balanced Purpose Driven Life

You will learn how to have the physical health and vitality you have always wanted, whilst developing and aligning your mind and spirit so you live a life with purpose and ease.

Loukas of Every Life is the only Melbourne Wellness Coach taking a truly holistic approach to working with our clients.

He has found people live the most fulfilled life when they develop their Mind, Body and Spirit.

Loukas has now combined his teaching, knowledge and experiences to help people grow and live a balanced purpose driven life.

These programs have been developed from working with clients for over 10 years as a personal trainer – where he has been able to support them in complete physical transformations whether their goals were to lose weight, build muscle, get strong or more agile.  However, he noticed not all of them had developed their mind or spirituality.  Whilst they looked great and had more energy, they either didn’t keep up the activity or seem fulfilled.

Additionally, he has worked with people who have invested a lot of time and resources into personal development and progressed in their careers and business.  Similarly, he has seen people prioritise their spiritual connection and development and found in both instances their health took a back seat in the process.  This often results in their not having the energy to make the most of their full mind and spirit.

Whilst Loukas knew the importance of developing the Mind, Body and Spirit, he found that to develop in each of these areas in his own life, he had to travel from one corner of the world to the other to learn from the best so he could live a truly balanced purpose driven life.

MIND

Have you ever set out to make a change in your health, fitness or wellness and either achieved them and slipped back into your old habits, or not achieved them at all?

Find out how your mind may be the key to giving you the lasting change you deserve instead of going from one quick fix diet or exercise program to another with a lack of results and ongoing frustration.

Mind

In the increasingly fast paced world, with more technology, demands and expectations – our minds can become overstimulated and fatigued. Whilst we often dismiss this with ‘it’s just a thought’ – these thoughts compounded over time can cause real issues. Clinical studies have now shown that mindfulness has resulted in both mental and physical health benefits.

What is Mindfulness?

There are various definitions and views on what mindfulness is – but it is probably best described as training yourself to pay attention in a certain way.  Mindfulness is also described as bringing your attention or focus to experiences happening in the present moment.

What are the Benefits of Mindfulness?

There are an increasing number of studies highlighting the benefits of mindfulness which can include decreased stress, enhanced relationships, better recovery from illness and improved general health, better performance at work and reduced burnout.

How can I Practice Mindfulness?

The most common methods for practicing mindfulness are:

Breathing Exercises:

  • Breathing exercises can be as short as 60 seconds and simple as sitting upright in a comfortable chair, with your feet flat on the ground and hands resting on your lap.  For the minute, you’ll simply need to breathe in and out, focussing solely on the air passing in and out of your nose and thinking about how your diaphragm goes up and down with each breath. As and when thoughts or things on your ‘to do’ list start to enter your mind, all you need to do is refocus on your breathing.

Reflection Exercises:

  • If we think about mindfulness as being a way to train ourselves to focus on things in a certain way – a simple reflection exercise is a quick and easy way to practice mindfulness.  This can be as simple as stoping and asking ourselves questions like ‘what’s going on at the moment?’ and ‘how does that make me feel?’. Whilst simple, this can be highly effective in comparison to most people’s normal patterns of reacting to someone or something, without stopping to observe what is actually happening and how we feel about it.

Meditation:

  • Lastly, but in most cases, the most common practice people think about when thinking about mindfulness is meditation. If you haven’t meditated before, this can be perceived as sitting in a quiet room for an hour and relaxing without falling asleep! Whilst this is obviously an option, there are short meditations and guided meditations which are typically someone talking over a relaxing audio and either asking questions or suggesting thoughts to channel your thoughts towards feelings of gratitude, or abundance or relaxation for example.

Body

There are ways the body was made to move so you can get the energy, mobility and strength you’ve always wanted. Whether you’ve been to a gym or not, or been a bit of a ‘weekend warrior’ – find out how you can go from a standing start, or even from an injury to a strong functional you that is overflowing with energy.

Body

If we don’t have our physical health, very little else matters.  As the saying goes “look after your body, it’s the only place you have to live”. The two key factors to looking after our physical body are how we move and what we eat. Every Life aim to improve people’s physical bodies through Functional Training.

What is Functional Training?

Most people exercise to either Lose Weight, Manage their Weight, Tone their Bodies, or Relieve Stress.  Whilst these are all great reasons to exercise – another reason could simply be to improve the way we move on a day to day basis in every day tasks. The term used to describe this way of training is known as “functional training” where the aim is to improve our ability to get up and down as well as life and carry things for example.

What are Functional Training Exercises?

Some of the key aims of functional training exercises is to engage more muscles and increase the range of movement. For this reason, a standard exercise like a lunge, may be replaced with a reverse lunge instead of a forward lunge where at the bottom of the lunge, you rotate your body in the opposite direction. E.g. step back with your right foot and rotate your body to your left. This is done to challenge your core stability, balance and mobility. To make this exercise more challenging, a weight can be held up at chest high with your elbows resting down along your body. By building this strength, stability and range of movement, you can see how you’ll feel the benefits in day to day activities like packing and unpacking the car, gardening, or playing most sports as they typically require multidirectional movement.

Where did Functional Training Come From?

Functional training largely originated in rehabilitation where physical therapists created exercises that resembled what people do in their day to day life at home or work. The purpose of using these exercises in the rehabilitation process is to enable patients to return to their day to day life with as complete functionality as possible.

Who is Functional Training Good For?

For this reason, unlike other exercise programs – functional training is great for people who are recovering from an injury through to people who already have a good level of fitness. For those that are recovering from an injury – functional training can help get you back to your normal routines.  For those that are already quite active – functional training can help further improve balance, agility, strength and range of motion.

To support Functional Training exercise programs, Every Life have developed rotating meal plans that provide the body with critical nutrients to fuel your body as well as the variety to ensure you don’t get bored.

What are Rotating Meal Plans?

As the name suggests, it’s a meal plan that rotates on weekly basis or every four to five days for example.  In an example of a weekly rotating meal plan, it will mean you have a set of meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner for week one, which is different to your breakfast, lunch and dinner for week two.

What are the Benefits of Rotating Meal Plans?

There are a range of benefits for rotating meal plans including reducing the number of ingredients you need to buy for a week of food, simplifying your overall week as you’re able to cook for more than one meal at a time, ensuring you’re meeting all your nutritional requirements for each meal as well as freeing up headspace wondering what you’ll eat each day.

Spirituality

The Mechanics of Life

The right strategies and techniques can get the Mind and Body in good shape. This if often what most of us turn to when we want to make a change in our lives.  However, it is often our Spirituality or ‘The Mechanics of Life’ which are overlooked and why we don’t feel fulfilled – even when we have the body or energy we’ve always wanted.

Spirituality

Life has 4 fundamental core values:

  • Truth
  • Light
  • Strength
  • Shadow

These are what I call the Mechanics of Life. These mechanics are like an eagle which has two wings – the wing of wisdom and the wing of careThe same mechanics apply to realise spirituality. Here we apply 2 more wings – the wings of intention and the wing of manifestation.

You can achieve EVERYTHING if you learn how to use the eagle with its four wings.

All these mechanics are analysed, explained and implemented in life through a variety of different ways. There are three pillars where all this establishment is based.

  • Understanding
  • Respect
  • Gratitude

When you learn all these, you will eliminate 2 basic issues of our society being Ego and Forgiveness.

Both in its core existence have great insights, but both are not necessary for the human evolution any more. They did serve a purpose, but this is no longer working. These old fashion ideas can be substituted by

1. Cosmic awareness: Ego needs power to survive. Cosmic Awareness needs Strength. Two totally different concepts. The art of how you can develop these concepts is part of my purpose in life. In its core my purpose involves the vision for a better world by helping mothers carry a healthy strong foetus.

All these concepts should be implemented, through that time. The mother foetus connection needs to be utilised through a specific integration so new children are stronger wiser and healthier; in a few words more aware!

2. Acceptance: Learning and applying the 4 core values (Truth, Light, Strength, Shadow) implies that the principle and need for forgiveness will slowly diminish. Accepting requires both sides to be equal opposites. Forgiveness has two non-equal sides. One must forgive and one must ask for forgiveness! In this instance one side has an advantage over the other side. This is not how life should be. Advantage and disadvantage, right or wrong, health and disease should have nothing to do with us.

Forgive yourself by accepting yourself. You will need to remove different states, different values, and all the filters (ego and forgiveness). The “I am sorry” must be – eventually- replaced with the “ I am aware”. The words “forgive me” becomes “accept me”. These concepts can only be used by people with no programming. For some of us it may already be a little too late for all that.  For others it may be the perfect timing, and for the new comers, it will be a BETTER WAY.

These concepts have come through after some mysterious and miraculous events.

Loukas just happened to be there searching! Are you ready to start searching learning and implementing?

New Life

Having a strong mind, body and spirit are important for all of us in order to live a fulfilling purpose driven life. This is the same, or even more important when bringing new life into the world. If you are expecting or planning to have a baby, as well as adopt, or foster a child – Every Life have specific programs and support to ensure you are in the best position possible to welcome new life into your family.

New LIfe

When planning to welcome a child into the world or introducing a child to your family, there are a lot of factors to consider and demands on you psychologically, physically and spiritually. For most expecting mothers or fathers, at best, one of these will take priority. This is typically due to time, finances or other resources as you usually have to see two or three different people to address these areas of our lives.

Unlike a lot of personal coaches and specialists, Personal Wellness Coach Loukas is able to address a number of areas that would otherwise be managed by seeing one, or a combination of a personal trainer, psychologist, counsellor, hypnotherapist or spiritual healer. There are a range of benefits to addressing these areas holistically when welcoming a newborn into the world, or child into your family including:

Stronger Mums

In today’s ever-changing world, women are going through a constant evolution. As a society, we need to support, encourage, protect and nurture this evolution. Whilst most may acknowledge this is important, very few really understand how this can happen. This is one of the reasons why modern woman experience so many challenges in both personal and work life.  Creating stronger women – Mentally, Physically and Spirituality is one of the foundational principals of Every Life.

Healthier Babies

In addition to creating stronger women, our mission is to help raise healthy babes that can lead this planet to a greater future. Our ancestors, grandfathers and grandmothers have suffered. We have gone through so much uncertainty and confusion of who we really are, why we are here, and where are we going. At Every Life we are creating the foundation, outside any religious beliefs or dogma for a painless life with meaning, fulfilment and joy. We focus on principles and practices that can start as early as planning for children, to the foetal stage, through to birth.
